When your outer corner of eye is incised too much and conjunctiva is not desquamated properly after outer corner extension surgery, your eyes may be dazzled and you can't open and close them as usual.
Sometimes you may get a scar after outer corner extension.

The reconstruction should be applied when wound on your eye is healed completely.
It takes normally between 6 months and 1 year since you have undergone outer corner extension.

If outer corner of your eyes were incised too much, it may cause tear gland disorder
so we re-suture the surgical site in order to minimise or make the scar invisible.
The reconstruction is a simple procedure and usually takes around 30 minutes.
Local anesthesia is applied.
You may be asked to visit us because sutures on your face need to be removed after 6 days.
Scar(s) will be fade away and almost invisible after 6 months.
