BK Plastic Surgery Hospital is trying to spread Korean plastic surgery techniques which are worldly renowned and provide free plastic surgeries for overseas patients suffering from facial deformities, scars and side effects induced from previous operations, especially for those on low income, children, or teenagers having difficulties finding a proper medical treatment in order to offer them new hopes to their lives.

Purpose of “2012 MEDICAL KOREA-Medical Volunteer Service”
We strive to help those who have suffered from physical condition/appearance by offering inner and outer healing in order to give them new dream and courage.
※Project name: “2012 MEDICAL KOREA-Medical Volunteer Service”
Objective: Overseas patients suffering from facial deformities, scars, and side effects induced from previous plastic surgeries, especially for those on low income or children and teenagers having difficulties finding a proper medical treatment
※Purpose: To introduce Korean medical techniques which are worldly renowned through medical volunteer services and ultimately create a society where help can be freely given to one another.
※Candidates: Patient elected by BK Plastic Surgery Hospital and Korea Health Industry Developmental Institute whether he/she is in a possible condition to receive treatments.
※Supporting contents: Free plastic surgery, airfare and accommodation cost (round-trip economy class tickets for patient and his/her guardian - 20.000KRW per night for the family member of a patient)

Guidelines for recruitment
※Recruiting period: 6, Feb, 2012 – 14, Feb, 2012
※Project period: During the period of March 2012 until the end of May 2012, entry to Korea and operations for patient will be completed.
※Candidates: Overseas children and teenagers (under age 25) on low income who suffer from facial deformities, scars and side effects from previous plastic surgeries

Screening
※Initial screening : conducted by BK Plastic Surgery Hospital
※Secondary screening : conducted by Korea Health Industry Developmental Institute
Support
Applicant will be considered as suitable for procedures after passing the screening, X-ray and blood tests.
